day 1

As I sit here and continually hit the refresh button I can't help but wonder: will I make it to the end? Will I be able to write 50k in one month or will I be left a few thousand short come 11:59pm on November 30th.

I am of coarse talking about NaNoWriMo, which started about 2 or so hours ago and in those two hours I managed to type around 800 words, while my friends reached around 1,000 about a half hour ago. I'm hoping I will be able to catch up with them and not be the slow typer of the group.

You wouldn't believe how many times I went back and erased a line and tried desperately to re word it and this years typing program actually tells me if my sentence is a sentences fragment or not so I'm stopping even more to fix mistakes. I no the point of NaNo is to just let everything flow, but it bugs me if the paragraph doesn't flow nicely.

Well, I'm gonna type a few 100 more words.
